Could Flintshire family be recycling record-breakers?
A Greenfield, Flintshire, family could be record-breakers when it comes to the number of recycled items of furniture and electrical goods in one home. Janette Bowen (41) says of her three-bedroom home in Groes Ffordd: “Near enough the whole house is filled with recycled items – and we’re delighted with them!” Janette, her partner, Stephen (44), twins Suzi and Sam (14) and son Ian (20) believe that, apart from saving a fortune on household items, they are also helping to save the planet as more recycling means less wastage of perfectly good household items. All of the recycled items were bought from Refurbs Flintshire, a charity based on Aber Park Industrial Estate, Flint, where the family are regular visitors, viewing and snapping up the latest bargains.
