IRJ April 23 – Essar Energy, the Indian energy major, is climbing its way towards the US£11 billion valuation mark as yesterday it announced it will raise US$2.5 billion through one of the largest IPO’s the London stock exchange 9LSE) has ever seen. These new shares will trade at around 450-550p, and if Essar reaches the US$11 billion mark it will be rocketed into the top 50 largest companies in the entire world.
