Could DaysOfVengeance.com be misconstrued as a “hate” site using language of vengeance and judgment against people?
A. We do not seek to quarrel with anyone, nor do we espouse violence or hatred towards others. This does not mean that we agree with everyone, nor believe that all people are nice and moral in some way or another. Quite the contrary. We believe that all are sinners and that salvation can ONLY be found in the One who has paid the penalty due for sins, which is he sentence of eternal death. Only in the Lord Jesus Christ, who suffered the equivalent of eternal death for each person He came to save, can the penalty for sin be met so that there is salvation. Since God has decreed that the wages of sin is death, that penalty must and will be meted out, just as any sentence decreed by a judge must be completely served to satisfy justice. Thus, doing good works will not remove the penalty. It must either be paid by ourselves, or by Christ the God-man in our place. And, since the enormity of the penalty for sin is everlasting, only One who is both God and man can reconcile man to God again. Thu
