Could Biobloc Orthotropics® be Authentic, Valuable Preventive Medicine?
Never one to be happy with his results (and always looking for ways to make cases turn out better), he started to look critically at the x-rays of his Biobloc Orthotropic® patients. One evening he was staring at the computer screen at his office and he noticed the Posterior Airway Space had dramatically increased on a patient he’d just completed Biobloc Orthotropic® treatment for. Quickly, he looked at other cases and began to see a similar pattern of airway increase on many of the post treatment changes. In May of 2001 he flew to Toronto to the AAO meeting to look at ABO cases on display there to see how extraction of teeth affected the airway. Comparing pretreatment and post-treatment airways on lateral head x-rays showed him what he thought he would see—diminished airways.
