Well, scientists have observed a phenomena that they call “dark flow”…some object or force that exists outside of the visible universe is drawing hundreds of galaxies towards it. Since this force or object lies outside of the visible universe and is drawing galaxies which are many billions of light years away from us, it’s possible that this process may have been going on a long time and we are only starting to observe it in the last couple years. We observe the universe in past time…not present time… since the distances are so vast. By the time the light and other rays reach the earth, many years have already gone by. Who knows if much of the rest of the visible universe is still even out there…all we know for sure is our own immediate solar system and objects visible within a dozen or hundred light years or so.
