Could anyone provide the step by step instructions on oil change for 07 RT?
I’m not much of a mechanic, but I think I can get through this: Before draining oil, make sure you have an oil filter wrench that will fit on the oil filter that’s currently installed (DAMHIK). Make sure you have the correct replacement filter and a tad more than 4 quarts of oil. Before doing the change I normally run the bike to get the oil warmed up and thinner. It drains better that way and hopefully carries away the crud. Remove the cap where you normally add oil. Then I take out the drain plug and let the oil drain for several minutes. When no more oil drips out, I replace the drain plug, with the new crush washer they sold you when you bought the filter, and then remove the oil filter. Let oil drain for a few minutes. Replace with new filter. Before screwing it on, wet the rubber seal lightly with oil, so it seals well when you screw it on. I only fasten it hand tight, but firmly.
