Could an early period accompanied by brown discharge being a sign of pregnancy?
It’s probably just the pill, it is common for these new hormones to cause some menstrual reaction. However, just for the sake of a little anatomy/girl class it could have been true, here is why. Approximately twenty percent of pregnancies will accompany a small period with brown discharge about twenty days after their last period and or conception. There is a specific reason behind this. Once you have ovulated and the sperm meets the egg, it takes about seven days for this embryo to travel to the uterus. Once there the embryo will “burrow” itself against the uterine wall. Sometimes, because of this new reaction in the uterus, your body will shed some of the uterine lining. This is like a small period with brownish discharge. If you ever heard a girl say, I had my period, I didn’t think I could be pregnant, this is why. It looks like a small regular period that goes away in about two days.
