Corresponding with the recent release of his DVD, what was your favorite Brian Pillman moment?
Matt: Probably the Respect match with Kevin Sullivan. It really blurred the lines between kayfabe and reality, which is something that wasn’t really done back then. It also solidified Pillman as a legit singles star, not just a Cruiserweight or a Tag Team specialist. After seeing his DVD, I really wish he had blown up more. It’s just a shame about that motorcycle accident, because it really hindered what he could do in the ring. Leon: Sadly, I didn’t catch Brian Pillman’s run in WCW. All my memories are of him in WWF. Favorite memory? Probably the infamous home break-in and gun angle with Austin. “HE’S GOT A GUN!!!” Some people think that’s wrestlecrap. Please. Wrestlecrap is a stormtrooper tripping in his debut.
