Convince me, .wav file format has been around for ages. Whats so cool about that?

This means that the sound level meters that support this now can record up to 12 hours of raw time data! That means your portable tape recorded suddenly has moved into the SLM (The maximum size of memory card the various Sound Level Meters support varies from manufacturer to manufacturer).
