convenience (see “Why do worlds split?” and “When do worlds split?”)
If you try to treat the worlds as pre-existing and separate then the maths and probabilistic behaviour all comes out wrong. Also the differentiation theory isn’t deterministic, in contradiction to the wave equations which are deterministic, since many-minds says that: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBBBBBB ————–> time (Worlds differentiate) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCC occurs, rather than: BBBBBBBBBBBBBBB B AAAAAAAAAAAAAA (Worlds split) C CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC according to many-worlds.
