Considering the problems of power failure, corruption and kidnapping in Nigeria, how realizable is vision 20:2020?
The Vision is indeed realizable if all hands are on deck to make it a reality. First, we must believe in the process and re-orientate ourselves about our capabilities as a people. The problems of power failure, corruption and kidnapping are inherent no doubt. However, the fight for an effective power supply, anti-corruption and the stemming of kidnapping is already on-going, what we need to do is to simply consolidate on it. Now with current amnesty in the Niger Delta we are beginning to see improvement in peace and security in the country. The Vision is a rallying call for the citizens, regardless of ethnicity, economic status, or religion to unite and stand behind a common cause of placing the country firmly on a path of sustainable growth, and taking it to its rightful place in the comity of nations.
