1. Left clicking the adobe PDF icon and selecting conversion settings brings the referencing icon back onto the tool bar. It is not necessary to make any changes to the adobe settings, simply activating the menu selection then vacating leaves the referencing macro icon on the tool bar. 2. Right click on an empty space in the menu bar and press the “customize” button, then cancel, without making any changes, the menu appears.
