Concerning the impact on the small local church, would a small local church be pressured into supporting the General Church? Will this hurt the General Church?
A – I hope that the direct result you quoted will not happen. Further, I hope and trust that the local churches would continue to embrace ministries like World Service. However, if the Annual Conference adopts these recommendations, it will be in your hands to accept and fund these ministries of the Annual Conference, Jurisdictional Conference and the General Conference.
