First, check that the .bin files are in the directory with geoid executable file specified in your geoid definition. Second, make sure that the geoid definition has the same reference ellipsoid as the coordinate system to which it is attached. Third, make sure that the geoid’s coordinate type is Geodetic. Fourth, if you are using a .gem file (either on the instrument or in LGO), make sure you changed the E to a W in the longitude field when you created it. If these three things don’t solve the problem, see FAQ #4 in the System 500 FAQ, FAQ SKI-Pro section.
