Computer Case FAQ. What is a removable backplane?
In a computer case, the backplane is the place where the motherboard is mounted. On the backplane there are screw hole that match the motherboard. A removable backplane is the same as an ordinary backplane only that it is able to be removed from the computer case chassis.
