Common State Treasurer Fee QuestionsQ. What is the withholding fee?

0

A. Nevada now requires a fee for child support income withholding, signed into law in May 2003 and effective 7/1/2003. According to SB186, employers must deduct a $2 fee from each employee who is subject to a Nevada wage withholding for child support, up to two times per month. The fees collected pursuant to the statute are to be sent, separately from the child support withholdings, to the Nevada State Treasurer.
