Commercial Vehical Insurance Minimums?

0

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a minimum amount of insurance coverage that is required for commercial vehicles… I am specifically talking about a 5 axle dump truck. This is also in Ohio if it makes a difference from state to state. I have tried doing some searching online but couldn’t find anything. Thanks in advance for your help! A: You need to check with your Ohio DOT. In Texas, ANY vehicle with a GCVW of 26,001 or over, requires a MINIMUM limit of liability of $500,000 Combine Single Limit (CSL) liability. If you cross State lines, normally a minimum of $750,000 CSL liability. If you are hauling hazardous materials, the limit is higher yet. Good luck and I hope this helps!
