Coming back to yourself, what has working at Orchard given you that working at Leo Burnett couldnt?
A. Before I joined Orchard, I worked at Leo Burnett. It was my best time in advertising. I was working with some of the best minds in the business Arvind, Pops, Chax, Rajiv, Aggie. It was like being given a chance to observe the masters. At Orchard, its different in the sense that my boys are observing me! And thats pretty rattling. So I do refer back on my Leo Burnett days for assurance. So far I have survived. Ill tell you why: because Ive always had great guys working for me. Their enthusiasm makes it worthwhile. Hemant in Mumbai, Sudhakar in Chennai, Maniv, Sagar and others, they are so committed to making our clients succeed. The saddest days in my career are when one of them wants to leave in search of new experiences. Then again, when they credit Orchard with having done them some good, I guess it was all worth it.
