A very reasonable suggestion, and not out of the realm of possibility. But for some reason I’ve never done this. I like how a scene can develop over time in a comic. A comic shows the characters reacting to each other, back and forth in dialog. It shows the before and after of Lalia’s excesses. Any idea interesting enough to draw as a single panel would be more interesting as a comic. If I like an idea enough to draw it, I don’t want to waste it. For example, some people pointed out the comedic potential of an “after Thanksgiving” drawing, showing the inevitable weight gain. If I’m going to depict this, I would rather save it for a comic.
