Scientific I’d like more information about the origin of life and scientific proof. Most scientists accept that “evolutionary processes” occur within species (such as by natural selection, the survival of the fittest), so one has to be specific with regard to the definition of “evolutionary theory”. What hasn’t been proven is that one species evolves to be a new or different species. People (including scientists) often take that as a “leap of faith”. Sometimes it seems the problem is a “heart problem” – people just not being able to accept the idea of a Creator God (deeming it “unscientific”). Addressing this issue in an academic setting can be difficult as most instructors, etc. are very closed-minded with respect to evolution – not really wanting to consider any scientific evidence that substantiates a creation theory.
