You may not place garbage and household waste that has not been drained of all free liquid, wrapped, bagged and enclosed in paper or plastic material in containers for collection. Household waste may be combined with garbage. You also may not place dangerous trash items or any waste materials of injurious nature such as broken glass, light bulbs, sharp pieces of metal, fluorescent tubes and television tubes in containers unless they are securely wrapped and marked so as to prevent injury to collection personnel. You may not dispose of regulated medical waste or hazardous waste in your container. Any items of household waste which are too large for receptacles and cannot be reduced to a size which can be placed in a receptacle may be placed at curbside – no earlier than noon on the day preceding the regularly scheduled collection date. Any receptacle placed at curbside must be removed by 12:00 midnight on the day of collection.
