The data stored in the HOBO Shuttle will not be lost when removing the batteries. Open the case by unsnapping the latch and lifting the lid. Tap the open case into the palm of your hand until the circuit board assembly dislodges. Remove the circuit board from the plastic carrier, and carefully push the batteries out with a small blunt instrument. Be sure to install the batteries with the printed side (+ side) of the batteries away from the HOBO Shuttle’s circuit board. All of the HOBO Shuttle’s LEDs will light, in sequence from top to bottom, then bottom to top, after the batteries have been installed. After new batteries have been installed the HOBO Shuttle will not offload a logger until the clock has been synchronized. To do this, run the logger software and select Launch… from the Logger menu.
