Closing Date on Job Applications?
If I were you, and you are sincerely very interested in the job, I would actually call the company, and ask to speak to someone in HR involved with hiring for the advertised role. Explain to them that you have just seen the advertisement, and you are very intrested in the position and that you are confident you have the skills to be successful in the position. Ask them if they can be flexible with their end date as you’ve only just seen the ad – and ensure them that you will complete the application today and send it in next day delivery. Calling them shows initiative, enthusiasm and a passion for the role – which are all quailities they will be looking for. More often than not they will be willing to be slightly felxible.
