Climbing with significant others: doom or delight?
Having just been dumped by the woman who taught me to climb in the first place I have to say doom. When it was good it was great – nothing like being with the person who makes your world go ’round when you’re out there at your limits on a climb and I’ve never climbed better than with her – something about trust and faith and encouragement… but as its fallen apart I’ve lost both the woman I love and my favorite climbing partner.
