• Writing the compact is an iterative process. It begins with a draft that identifies high priority initiatives and outlines how those initiatives will address key issues. Through a series of two or three compact meetings with the units supervisor, the unit will refine the draft until the final compacts have reached a mutually agreed-upon form. See guidelines.
