City Services: I just moved to Bowie. How can I set up a water and sewer account?
The City of Bowie Water and Sewer System serves most homes in the City that are located north of MD Route 50 in the Levitt-built sections, as well as the Heather Hills section. If you are moving to one of these areas, you should come to the Cashier Window at City Hall to apply for service. You will be required to pay a $50 deposit, (which will be applied to your final bill when you move) and a $25 non-refundable account processing fee. At the same time, you may pick up a “Welcome to Bowie” information packet and a recycling bucket at the front reception desk. To determine whether or not you are served by City of Bowie Water and Sewer Service, please call 301-809-2344 or view the list below. If you are moving to one of the other areas of the City, served by the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC), call 301- 206-4001 for information on setting up your new account. Dont forget to stop by City Hall to pick up your “Welcome” packet and recycling bucket!
