CIDESCO Prerequisites and Preparation 5. What prerequisites are required to take Skin Care Consultants’ CIDESCO Preparatory Course?
• CIDESCO mandates that applicants for the CIDESCO degree must be either be: Category 1) Experienced currently licensed professionals with Category 1) extensive industry work experience*, or Category 2) Graduates of an internationally accredited Category 2) CIDESCO school (with a mandatory 1200 hours Category 2) of training following CIDESCO guidelines, etc.) * For experienced candidates (Category 1), CIDESCO requires: i) Evidence of 3 years work as an esthetician ii) Copies of esthetic diploma or proof of professional training iii) Proof of employment, signed by employer or notary republic (if self-employed) iv) Copy of state license
