Christians, why do monkeys have the same blood type as us?
Genetically speaking, we are closely related to the chimpanzees, but they don’t necessarily have the same blood make up as we do. Regardless, it’s pretty amazing. Blood, like any other cells in our body, contain DNA – genetic trees and lineages are charted based on research and findings. We’re all related and connected in some ways, all living things. I don’t know if we can trace EVERYTHING to a *single* ancestor, but all organisms have come from something. Things change over time, and many, many years have passed for there to be millions of changes. I’m a Christian and I believe in evolution and science! In fact, it is my major. 🙂 On a side note, one of my biggest pet peeves are people out there (mostly religious) saying that science is out to negate the existence of a God or something. Get over yourselves, guys! You think EVERYONE out there is out to get you.
