Christians; Serious question; What verses in the bible talk about false prophets, healers and miracles?
I think The Apostle is right. The best way to explain it to him is to study it yourself. You can read about the miracles of Jesus in the book of John. John 2 talks about Jesus turning the water into wine. I haven’t been a Christian that long or studying the bible that long either, but some of your questions are some of the topics that we have been studying in my church. We actually just finished studying about the rapture and signs of the end; about false prophets and the Antichrist and all. I don’t want to be one of the ones who misses the rapture. You can read about that in the book of Revelation. It’s very interesting too. www.biblegateway.com is a good reference for bible study. You can look up bible verses in the KJV or NIV, or plenty different versions as well. You can also look up commentaries on different verses to get a better understanding of something in the bible. I like the Matthew Henry commentaries myself. It’s helped me a lot with my bible study.
