Christians, how do you know the Devil didnt send Jesus?
First off your premise that if Jesus was sent by the devil it explains his ability to do miracles doesn’t really add up – but that aside. Jesus – the Messiah – was prophesied in the old testament, the he would be sent from God, that he would suffer and die for our sins, that he would be raised from the dead etc. So if Jesus fulfilled all of the prophecies and WAS sent from the devil, then that means that either God lied about the Messiah being from him in the old testament – which would make God not God because he would be a liar, OR the devil would have to be responsible for the old testament. If the devil is responsible for the old testament, then that means that God has not revealed himself to us through revelation, which means that the only way we would know about God would be through the devil’s revelation of the old and new testament. If this is the case, why would the devil tell us about God at all – he wouldn’t. therefore the bible is not from the devil, Jesus fulfills the old
The people who believe in “the devil” will say about unbelievers that the devil has clouded their minds and they don’t know what is real. The trouble is, if the believers think that’s true, then NO ONE can ever know anything for sure, and they won’t be able to truthfully say that they know the devil didn’t send Jesus.
