Christian, is it true that the bible describes Satan as a lion?
Be sober and watch: because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist ye, strong in faith: knowing that the same affliction befalls your brethren who are in the world. 1 Peter 5:8-9 I don’t understand the second part of your question, though. If you’re speaking about Genesis, though, check your facts: it was a serpent. And regardless of the nature of the serpent, Adam and Eve knew it was forbidden to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which is what the serpent tempted them to do. Before that, knowledge of good and evil was unnecessary, as God spoke to his creatures face-to-face, and had made only the one negative command regarding the tree.
