Christian Bible scholars! Are Cherubims midgets, children or smart baby angels in heaven?
Cherubim or Cherubs are angels of rank above messenger angels. They are the second highest ranking group of angels. Angels in their natural form and environment are truly humongous. Angels are spirits, and a spirit can hold several stars in its hand. (Revelation 2:16) The Bible shows that angels are metamorphic beings. They have the ability to change both their size, form, and shape. When they come to earth they most often compress their energy and size. They also change their form and shape when they transform into fleshly bodies like humans. (Genesis 18:2, 22; 19:1) But, they can reduce their size anywhere between their natural size and at least to that of a man. An angel can stand with one foot on the sea and the other on the earth while his head towers into the sky where the clouds and rainbow exists. (Revelation 10:1, 2) They are huge indeed when they want to be and in their natural environment in heaven. So no cherubim are not midgets, children, nor babies. They are fully mature
You asked and I quote: “Are Cherubims midgets, children or smart baby angels in heaven” They are neither. Cherubs are angelic creatures of high rank having special duties, distinguished from the order of seraphs. The first of the 91 times they are mentioned in the Bible is at Genesis 3:24; after God’s driving Adam and Eve out of Eden, cherubs (Heb., keru·vim′) were posted at the East entrance with a flaming blade of a sword “to guard the way to the tree of life.” Whether more than two were stationed there is not disclosed. As with the visible creation, so also in the invisible realm there is order and rank among the angels. The foremost angel, both in power and authority, is Michael, the archangel (Daniel 10:13, 21; 12:1; Jude 9; Revelation 12:7). Because of his preeminence and his being called “the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of [God’s] people,” he is presumed to be the angel that led Israel through the wilderness (Ex 23:20-23). Ranking very high among the angel
