Chinese Nuclear Missiles, Is There a Threat to the United States?
It is known that at least 40 intercontinental ballistic Chinese nuclear missiles are pointed at the United States now. It is also known that at the countries current production, up to 10 – 20 new Chinese nuclear missiles are being produced every year. This number may be conservative. China currently has nuclear powered submarines equipped with nuclear missiles patrolling the seas. Newer members to the Chinese nuclear missiles arsenal are the road medium-range ballistic nuclear missiles and the newer road-mobile intercontinental ballistic nuclear missiles. The Chinese also have various short and medium-range nuclear missiles to support its intercontinental capabilities.
