Children have been hanging around my block all summer (eg, playing football). What can be done?
All issues like this are best resolved amicably and locally. In the first instance, if you know the children or their parents, then talk to them first, to find a solution. Contact the local residents’ association, to see if this is a common issue that the local group can resolve together. You can also contact the ASB Hotline on 01753 875298, who will see if this is an issue for other residents, and look at the options to resolve this. The kind of information required would be: • Where the nuisance occurred, and when it occurred • The nature of the nuisance • What you are expecting to happen – although the council has a range of approaches and options, your expected outcome might not be the one put in place • Your name and address – so the we can contact you if more information is required.
