Children dont get skin cancer, so why is it such a problem?
Its true that skin cancer in children is very rare. But many skin cancers take years to develop. The main cause of skin cancer is too much UV, and damage to our skin cells as a young child can develop into skin cancer as many as 30 years later. Just one severe case of sunburn in early life can significantly increase the risk of skin cancer later on.
