Chevy Venture Wiper problem!?

a friend of mine has a 2003 Chevy Venture for some reason the timing on wiper is wrong when you turn off the wipers they go down and then after go up and stay up they don’t block my windsheild they just go at a straight 90 degree angle up. what may be the problem why it stays up and doesnt go down when i turn off my wipers? A: Actually it’s not electrical at all. This is a fairly common issue with the Venture vans. The problem is your wiper motor crank arm. It is a mechanical device that aids in “parking” your wiper blades. It sits on top of your wiper motor and connects the motor to the wiper transmission. When they go bad, it causes the wiper blades to park in the vertical position. Just replace this piece and you’ll be all set.
