Chevy Venture mini van rejected from emmisions?
My car keeps getting rejected from the emmisions test site. When they read my computer with their machine it reads not ready for all of the things they are checking. I have taken it there 3 times already and have had work done on it. It’s not failing, just being rejected. When I go to the mechanic, it reads ok on his machine. What could be the problem. I heard that the engine and computer aren’t talking to eachother and every time I turn off my car the computer restarts and there is nothing to read. What can it be and how can I fix it? Desperate now, my plates are expired and I used all the temporarys. A: Take the vehicle on a good road trip and go back to have them check the rediness monitors. DO NOT turn the engine off. I’ve seen some vehicles do this.
