I have a 1965 MG that also requires leaded gas, I but lead substitute from local parts store and add it to my gas fill ups.

Leaded gasoline is no longer available in the States . Ive run it since the change with little problems other than extra valve and valve seat wear. The valves and seats can be replaced at a machine shop.
