Chessmaster sometimes crashes when trying to quit the program. Is there any fix for it?
At this time, it is not known what causes this rare crash. Since it occurs during shutdown, however, it is believed to not corrupt any program files or user data. It is suggested, though, that you reboot your computer if possible after this crash occurs, as one or more chess engines may still be running “in the background”, as explained in the ReadMe file that came with Chessmaster 8000.
