Cheapest way to replace 2001 Toyota Camry sideview mirror?
I cracked and detached the plastic housing the driver’s sideview mirror, and wanted to replace it. A couple of mechanics have told me it’s a dealer-only part, and they can replace only the whole thing, including the mirror and motors. That’s ok, but the dealer parts are expensive. Anyone have experience with replacing the whole thing with a cheaper, generic part? A: Check out Keystone auto parts, they are one of the largest aftermarket body part distributers. http://www.keystone-auto.com/bodyshops/products.html Another one is Certi-fit. They are not as high quality, but usually most cannot tell. You will have to look up in the local yellow pages to find one near you.
