Cheap, but good quality, sailor moon costume (including wig) for anime convention? ?
There’s no such thing as “cheap and good quality” when it comes to cosplay. It’s either going to be “cheap and crappy looking” or “expensive and good quality”. You’re best to just make one yourself; any “cheap” costume you buy online is probably going to be low quality and ugly-looking, and you’ll most likely get ripped off anyway (online shops, especially on eBay, tend to use the cheapest fabric available and put the costumes together in a really sloppy manner). Avoid satin as a fabric; most cosplayers agree that satin is ugly and ruins a costume. Also, don’t expect to buy all the parts from the same dealer, if you’re going to buy the costume. You can expect to buy the wig from one place, the costume from another, the boots from another, etc. A decent Sailor Moon wig will cost you around $100. Browse Sailor Moon forums and communities for cosplay commissioners, who will usually make a better quality Sailor Moon costume than the ones you’ll find on eBay or in online shops. Don’t accept
