Chart 8) May the IRB Review Be Done by Expedited Procedures?
To find out if anything is needed for your project to meet federal, state and institutional guidelines, call the IRB office to arrange a discussion with someone in the department. In most cases, protocols which have been reviewed and approved by another institution’s IRB must still be reviewed and approved by Cottage Health System IRB. This is to ensure that all of the operational issues and institutional approvals have been met.
