Current boundaries ensured safe walking routes for students. The District has extended secondary walking distances because the city has added sidewalks. In addition, the Riverside Transit Authority has extended routes to serve secondary schools. Major boundary adjustments will be made as new school(s) are built. With 75% of our students receiving free and reduced meals, charging for transportation would not generate the dollars needed to pay to administer the program.
