Character actions are things that rely primarily on a single character, like an adventure. Magic actions deal with magic on the domain level, such as preparing a realm spell. Both kinds can be taken in place of regent actions. Military actions are court actions that deal with military matters. However, when the wage war regent action is chosen, they become free actions.
