Feedback • Theoretically the master cylinder and caliper can be rebuilt. I tried to buy a rebuild kit for a leaky BMW master cylinder and was told that they don’t sell master cylinder rebuild kits, I would have to buy a new master cylinder for some astronomical sum. That was a different BMW than my ’99 Classic. So, I’d imagine that there is a rebuild kit for the master cylinder but that no dealer outside of BMWAG has one in stock and they can’t be shipped overseas for national security reasons.
