Ceramic Heating Elements or PTC Heaters?

0

• When the original ghd model was released several years ago, the main reason people found it much better than all the other models available back then, was that the ghd straightener used ceramic elements to heat an aluminium plate. A lot of the cheaper straighteners – both then and now – still use the inferior PTC heaters and then make claims about ‘ceramic coating’ or ‘ceramic plates’. PTC heaters are not able to produce the high negative ion output of a ceramic heater or heat as quickly. Ceramic elements also maintain an exact temperature much more easily and ceramic elements are more reliable. DIOSA hair straighteners have the better, ceramic heating elements fitted.
