Cds that I make for my car don work. Whats wrong?

I have a 2001 Toyota Solara and when ever I make cd’s using Itunes or Windows Media Player neither of them work in my car and it just says error on my cd player in my car but in my moms car it works but she has a 2006 Honda Odyssey so im assuming that the cds are too advanced for my car but my cousin made a cd for me about 6 months ago and it worked so if anyone knows what i can do to the cds i make for my cd player or anything please answer my question. Thank You A: Are the cd’s burned as .wav format? wav’s are uncompressed. I don’t think 2001 model cars’ cd players are able to play compressed music formats such as mps, wmv, aac etc. With wav’s you will be able to fit only ~15 songs per cd. With compressed music formats, you can fit 150+ per cd. Those are just rough numbers, not exact.
