Caught stealing at work, what will happen?

To put it to rest: No, you will not face charges. You will never work for that company again, and should probably not show your face anywhere on their property. That being said, not to be a blowhard or anything, but I’m glad you got caught and I’m glad you lost your job over it. Not because I think you are a bad person or an irredeemable thief. It’s because you learned very fast that stealing is not a viable option. This also is completely senseless; for, what, $4.47. I bet your rate of pay was more than the time it took them to call you on the carpet. But it does hurt to lose your job, especially in this economy. You’ll have to wear this for awhile; not only the financial strain that losing your job (for the sake of $4.45), but also the embarrassment of losing your job for stealing ( don’t think there are too many things that are more embarrassing) You’ll have another job in a year, but I doubt you’ll pull a stunt like that again. Now, if you think I’m sounding too preachy, I’ll tell
