Catching a flu: does it have any energetic connection with the heart chakra?
When I have worked with people who have had the flu, my attention is drawn toward the Sacral chakra and also, less strongly, toward the Solar Plexis. I do not recall ever being drawn specifically toward the Heart chakra for this sort of ailment. Many people will tell you that there are 7 chakras in the body, but in reality, there are hundreds of chakras. There are 6 major chakras and the ajna which is of a slightly different character than the major chakras. Depending on the needs of the patient, the minor chakras may demand more attention than the major chakras. I mention this because my being drawn toward the sacral and solar plexis region may have more to do with the minor chakras (possibly the intestines) than it has to do with the major chakras. Also, the flow of the chi may be affected in different ways at different points in the disease process. What may originally appear as a deficiency in the heart chakra may move to the intestines and then back to the heart. At this point I w
