Carphone warehouse phone for £5 – is it unlocked?
Its highly likely it will be unlocked as carphonewarehouse tend to do this with most of their handsets so they don’t need to keep so much stock, just more sim cards (cheaper) I bought my last handset on Vodafone PAYG and am using an Orange PAYM (as advised by their staff) As for the handset, well, it’s not great. It has good talk time and standby time but that’s because its got pretty much no other features. It is purely for talking and texting only. No Bluetooth, no music player, no memory card and only a small phone memory, no camera. It does however have a radio. All in all unless you want a very basic handset then go for something else.
